Bitcoin barely moved. Bitcoin was $75,890, down about 0.27% on the 24-hour print, and ether was $2,241.21, up 0.07%, in a CoinGecko snapshot fetched at 2026-11-07T00:23:56+00:00. Solana printed $90.23 (up 0.48%). Combined market cap sat near $2.57 trillion, with bitcoin share about 59.2% and 24-hour volume near $71.5 billion.
TeraWulf put third-quarter revenue at $76.2 million, about 83% of it HPC lease income. Hut 8 posted $71.1 million of revenue and funded later buybacks with bitcoin sales. Strive acquired 8,136 bitcoin in the quarter and another 15,124 from October 1 to October 30. CFTC staff said clearinghouses may use trust companies for daily settlement if they treat them like settlement banks. LlamaRisk posted Aave V3 caps, Nethermind tested EIP-8141’s validation budget, Grove asked for a November 19 Sky spell, and Kraken still had some network delays after restoring Base, Optimism, and BSC.
TeraWulf Q3: $76.2 million of revenue, 83% from HPC leases
TeraWulf's November 6 earnings release puts third-quarter revenue at $76.2 million, including $63.0 million of HPC lease revenue, about 83% of the total. GAAP net income was about $709.9 million, which the company says came from a non-cash change in the fair value of warrants; non-GAAP adjusted EBITDA was about $(12.8) million. Lake Mariner had 102 MW of revenue-generating critical IT capacity at September 30, 2026, with another 336 MW under construction. The print restates the Google credit backstop on the $19 billion Anthropic lease that TeraWulf already disclosed on November 4.
Hut 8 Q3: $71.1 million of revenue, bitcoin sales fund buybacks
Hut 8's November 4 release puts third-quarter revenue at $71.1 million, including $68.4 million from compute, and GAAP net income of $189.5 million. The company says it fully commercialized Beacon Point by signing a second 352 MW IT lease, taking expected aggregate base-term contract value across its AI data center portfolio to about $26.6 billion. Energy capacity under exclusivity rose 1,300 MW to 3,180 MW. Hut 8 repurchased $74.7 million of shares in the quarter and a further $175.3 million after quarter-end, funded with proceeds from bitcoin sales, and closed a $1.07 billion senior secured revolving credit facility.
Strive Q3: 8,136 bitcoin bought, $509.0 million of GAAP net income
Strive's November 6 release says it acquired 8,136 bitcoin in the third quarter ended September 30, 2026, and 20,373 bitcoin in the first nine months. It then acquired another 15,124 bitcoin from October 1 through October 30. GAAP net income for the quarter was $509.0 million, or $5.24 per common share on a fully diluted basis. On October 20 it completed a registered offering of 7,000,000 SATS preferred shares for about $609.0 million of net proceeds, and as of October 30 cash was $490.4 million while its STRC preferred position had a fair value of $50.1 million.
CFTC staff: DCOs may use trust companies for daily settlement
On November 5, 2026, the CFTC Division of Clearing and Risk issued a no-action letter, Staff Letter 26-30, on whether derivatives clearing organizations may use trust companies to run daily settlements with clearing members. Press release 9322-26 says a DCO may do so if it treats the trust company as it would a settlement bank under applicable CFTC requirements. That is staff relief, not a Commission rule change, and the notice does not name which trust companies are already in the settlement set.
LlamaRisk asks Aave V3 to lift USDC caps and set USDe at 7%
LlamaRisk's November 6 Risk Stewards post asks Aave V3 Core to raise the USDC supply cap from 3.0 billion to 3.5 billion and the USDC borrow cap from 2.27 billion to 2.6 billion. It also wants the USDe variable borrow base rate set to 7.00% on Core, Monad, X Layer, Mantle, Plasma, and Avalanche. On Avalanche it asks to cut DAI.e supply and borrow caps from 6.2 million and 5.414 million down to 1. This is a steward recommendation, not an executed on-chain change until the risk stewards act.
Nethermind benchmark: EIP-8141's 100k verify cap is the DoS floor
Stefano De Angelis, Daniil Ankushin, and Manuel Arto at Nethermind posted a November 6 ethresear.ch benchmark of EIP-8141's unpaid validation budget. The draft caps unpaid validation at MAX_VERIFY_GAS = 100k, which they say is too low for a Groth16 privacy transfer or post-quantum signatures. Without in-client protections, their slowest machine stayed inside a 25 ms block-processing delay only up to 15M gas/s, which with about 100 failing transactions per second per connection keeps the cap at 100k. They argue 300k is viable if the client pauses transaction validation while it processes a block; under a 100 tx/s flood the mempool then admits only 12-27% of honest frame transactions.
Magicians sketch Stealth ABBE so encrypted contracts hide the recipient list
Andrey_Chmora's November 4 Magicians post proposes Stealth Attribute-Based Broadcast Encryption over BLS12-381 so private contracts and encrypted state can move on Ethereum without a cleartext recipient header. The write-up claims an O(1) broadcast KEM of about 24.1 KiB, or about 19% of one 128 KiB EIP-4844 blob, independent of participant count N. Access policies, it says, are absorbed into the codeword rather than posted as a roster. This is a framework and preprint, not a scheduled hard fork or a live blob format.
Grove asks Sky for 800,000 USDS and a doubled CCTP limit on November 19
GroveLabs posted the technical scope for a November 19, 2026 Sky spell. One item sends 800,000 USDS from the Grove SubProxy to the Grove Foundation multisig as the November operating grant, and a separate 300,000 USDS is earmarked for GROVE token purchases over three months, with those tokens sent back to the SubProxy. The post also asks to raise Circle CCTP transfer limits between Ethereum and Base from 50 million USDC to 100 million USDC in each direction, and to add Agora AUSD mint and redeem addresses. This is a proposed spell, not executed until the November 19 action lands.
Kraken restores Base, Optimism, and BSC funding; five networks still delayed
Kraken opened incident lq19kjjg863l at 10:19 UTC on November 5 for deposit and withdrawal delays on Ink, Optimism, Unichain, Shape, Gensyn, Fraxtal, Katana, X Layer, and Base. A 13:12 UTC November 6 update said Ink, Optimism, Unichain, and Base were restored, and a 13:48 UTC update said BSC was restored. Remaining affected networks may still be delayed; from the original list, Shape, Gensyn, Fraxtal, Katana, and X Layer were not named as restored. Kraken said other funding methods remained operational.
