ZeroStack swaps about $1 billion of MemeCore tokens for stock
On August 19, 2026, ZeroStack (Nasdaq: ZSTK) signed a securities purchase agreement to issue 3.5 million common shares and pre-funded warrants for up to 36,198,293 more shares in exchange for 925,925,926 MemeCore (M) tokens. The 8-K values the shares and warrants at $25.19 each and the tokens at $1.08 fair market value as of August 14, 2026, for aggregate consideration of about $1 billion. The tokens are not to be staked, and share issuance above a 19.99% cap waits on Nasdaq Rule 5635 shareholder approval. Warrant shares carry a lock-up of up to 10 years.
Solana still lists the 400 ms to 200 ms slot cut as pending
The Solana Foundation upgrade page for reduced slot times, updated August 2026, still labels the change a pending feature activation. SIMD-0525 would cut default slot duration from 400 milliseconds toward 200 milliseconds in four 50 ms steps, with the first 400 ms to 350 ms gate targeted in Agave v4.2. Each later step can pause if block skip rates climb, and Anza's schedule is explicitly tentative. BTCS posts $1.5 million Q2 gross profit as Imperium hits 61% of sales

PowerCompute holds 315.1 bitcoin after a heat-curtailed July
PowerCompute (Nasdaq: PWCM) reported 7.9 bitcoin mined net in July 2026, down from 8.7 in June, and sold 11.1 bitcoin. The treasury stood at 315.1 BTC on July 31, valued at about $20.2 million using a $64,000 bitcoin price that day, of which 307 BTC sat against a loan facility. Seasonal heat curtailment at Oklahoma and Mississippi sites also produced about $91,000 of energy sales. After month-end the company said it refinanced about $18 million of debt into an Arch Lending facility secured by bitcoin, and marked the stack at about $21.5 million on August 19 using $68,200.
