  1. PowerCompute repays $22.45 million of Bitcoin-backed debt with 267.4 BTC

  2. Applied Digital posts $341.9 million Q1 revenue and 250 MW at Polaris Forge 1

Applied Digital reported fiscal first-quarter 2027 results for the period ended August 31, 2026 in an 8-K accepted October 7. Revenue was $341.9 million, up 322% from the year-ago quarter, while net loss attributable to common stockholders was $221.0 million, or $0.76 per share. Adjusted figures that exclude ChronoScale showed $300.4 million of adjusted revenue, a $4.1 million adjusted net loss, and $64.4 million of adjusted EBITDA. After the quarter, the company said the second 75 MW phase of Building 2 at Polaris Forge 1 reached Ready for Service on October 1, taking live campus capacity to 250 MW, and it had already closed $1.59 billion of 7.000% senior secured notes due 2031.

  3. Teku 26.10.0 is a recommended update, not a Sepolia fork bump

Consensys tagged Teku 26.10.0 on October 8, 2026 at 22:05 UTC as a recommended consensus-client update, not a required Sepolia fork bump. The notes add gossipsub metrics that stay off by default, resend forkchoiceUpdated when the execution layer returns no payloadId so a SYNCING engine is less likely to miss a proposal, and set gossip max_total_fields to 32768. Validator-client fixes send the Eth-Consensus-Version header on Gloas proposer preferences and payload attestations. The release also repairs ENR advertisement when a BPO fork is scheduled before the next hard fork, and it dials TCP if a QUIC dial fails.

  4. Aave Risk Stewards queue Monad cap raises and a Core USDe cut

LlamaRisk posted Risk Steward cap changes for Aave V3 dated October 8, 2026. On the Monad instance it wants USDe supply raised from 100 million to 150 million (89.8% utilized), AUSD supply from 20 million to 40 million and borrow from 18 million to 32 million after 100% supply-cap use, and mUSD borrow from 25 million to 40 million. It also cuts the PT-AUSD-8OCT2026 supply cap from 80 million to 1 after the October 8 maturity, with about 44.74 million PT still in the reserve. On Aave V3 Core it would cut USDe supply from 700 million to 550 million after supply fell about 137 million since October 6, leaving 404.53 million outstanding (57.8% of the old cap).

  5. TokenLogic asks Aave to list Paxos USDG on Arbitrum, collateral off

TokenLogic filed a direct-to-AIP on October 8 to list Paxos USDG on the Aave V3 Arbitrum instance as a borrowable stablecoin with collateral disabled. Proposed launch caps are 30 million supply and 27.6 million borrow, with 0% LTV and liquidation threshold, a 10% reserve factor, and the same interest-rate curve as Arbitrum USDC. The note says USDG already sits on Aave V3 Ethereum Core, X Layer, Ink, and Aave V4 Ethereum hubs, and that USDG supply across Aave rose from $94.1 million to $123.2 million over the last 90 days. Arbitrum stablecoin liquidity is described as concentrated in USDC and USD₮0, both at high utilisation.

  6. Lido Earn Q3: $5.79 million position, no treasury remittance

Lido contributors posted the Q3 2026 score for the $5 million DAO treasury first-loss allocation to Lido Earn, covering July 1 through September 30. About $2 million sits in EarnUSD and about $3 million in wstETH-funded EarnETH, both curated by Mellow since March 2026. As of September 30 the DAO reported $5,219,633.31 of capital deployed (priced on deposit dates) and a $5,791,361.23 position value, with EarnUSD up $65,877.51 and EarnETH down 124.73 ETH against those deposits. 7. Compound maps Institutional Comet toward an optimistic COMP council

Compound Foundation, Woof, and the Compound Governance Working Group posted the Institutional Comet transition plan that Proposal 608 asked for. As of October 8 the USDC market on Ethereum had about $20.6 million supplied against $36.2 million of collateral and $16.3 million borrowed, or 79% utilisation, after opening to deposits on September 8 and clearing $20 million of supply within a week. Today a 3-of-4 governor, a 4-of-7 proxy owner, and the 5-of-9 Pause Guardian still run it. The plan is an optimistic council that proposes changes, with COMP holders able to veto, and a full spec promised before the end of October.

  8. Sky Pattern spell would cap a River I transfer at 35 million USDC

Sky's Pattern team posted technical scope for the October 22, 2026 Pattern Prime spell: onboard the River I allocation to River SPV II as a Transfer Asset. Requested rate limits are maxAmount of 35 million USDC and a slope of 10 million USDC per day, sized for an expected 25 million to 35 million USDC in week one and about 10 million USDC per month toward roughly 70 million USDC. The spell is configuration only and does not move funds. The Pattern Relayer Multisig would initiate transfers later inside those limits, and USDC sent to RIVER_SPV_2_OFFRAMP is described as converting into USD that is FDIC insured for $250 million per account.

  9. Coinbase: move BLAST off the venue before October 26 or lose access

Coinbase Status still shows the Blast (BLAST) network shutdown as in progress, with a window from 16:00 Pacific on October 7, 2026 through 03:00 Pacific on October 27. The incident, posted October 7 at 15:50 Pacific, says the Blast network is being shut down by the project team. BLAST that is not moved off Coinbase before October 26, 2026 will not be accessible after that shutdown. This is a venue-and-token migration clock, not a Coinbase outage on bitcoin or ether.
