Magicians draft ERC-8409 for signed service payment quotes
A September 3 Magicians draft, ERC-8409, defines an EIP-712 format for service providers to sign EVM payment quotes. A quote would commit to the issuer, an optional payer, settlement chain, asset, recipient, amount, request, quote ID, and validity window, while keeping those terms separate from the payer authorization and from settlement itself. The draft says the format is transport-independent, so HTTP, x402, MCP, and A2A could reuse it. The companion ERC pull request is number 1990.
Arbitrum Watchdog moves to ban three high-severity grant cases
